Hi, I’m Mary Rivas, founder of Finance Wave Transformation Ltd.
I design and transform modern finance functions, bridging the gap between Finance and Technology.
With over a decade of international experience across the UK, US, and Germany, I specialise in finance transformation, ERP implementations, and M&A integrations, primarily supporting private equity–backed companies.
I focus on designing scalable finance architectures, implementing modern ERP systems such as NetSuite, and optimising financial processes post go-live.
I am ACCA qualified, with a background as a Finance Director in international organisations. I studied Business and Managerial Economics between Spain and Germany and speak fluent English, German, and Spanish.
Professional Experience
In 2013, I relocated from Spain to Germany, where my international career began working with private equity–backed companies. During this time, I gained extensive experience in finance leadership, M&A transactions, and ERP implementations.
At the end of 2018, I relocated from Frankfurt to London. In 2019, I founded Finance Wave Transformation, a boutique consulting firm focused on finance transformation and ERP implementations. Since then, I have been supporting organisations with M&A integrations, NetSuite implementations, and the modernisation of their accounting and finance systems.
My focus is on designing and building scalable finance architectures that support growth, acquisitions, and international expansion.
Why I Founded
Finance Wave Transformation
After more than a decade working as a Finance Director and Finance Transformation leader in private equity–backed companies across Germany, the US, and the UK, I repeatedly saw the same challenge: finance teams struggling to align systems, processes, and data with business growth.
I founded Finance Wave Transformation to bridge this gap, combining finance leadership with deep ERP expertise to design and build scalable finance architectures, implement modern systems such as NetSuite, and navigate M&A integrations.
My mission is simple: to design and build finance systems that enable clarity, control, and scalable growth.
